Principle of operation:

It is to input the electronic drawing file of the workpiece into the computer, and the automatic programming software will quickly generate the processing program of the bending machine. The bending machine, under the coordinated command of the CNC system, will complete the automatic positioning of the sheet, the selection of the mould and the press. This bending machine has X/Y direction positioning table for plate positioning, which can feed the plate into the pressing position.

Power source:

The power of the hydraulic system mainly comes from the oil pump, which is the core component of the hydraulic system, driven by a motor to convert low-pressure oil into high-pressure oil to provide the required pressure and flow.

Actuator:The oil cylinder is an actuating element that converts the high-pressure oil output from the oil pump into mechanical energy. In a bending machine, the piston in the cylinder, driven by the high pressure oil, will push the upper die upward to bend the metal sheet.

Control Elements:Control valves are used to control the flow and pressure of the hydraulic fluid, thus controlling the speed of movement of the cylinder and the force output. Common control valves include relief valves, reversing valves, etc. They play a key role in the bending machine to ensure that the upper die is able to accurately press down on the metal plate to form the desired bending shape.

Work Process:

Start-up phase: When the hydraulic system is started, the pumps begin to work to provide the necessary pressure and flow.

Descending stage: Through the operation of the control valve, the cylinder starts to descend, and the upper mould descends rapidly under the action of gravity, approaching the workpiece. At this time, if needed, the upper chamber of the cylinder can be filled quickly through the filling valve to speed up the descent.

Pressure stage: When the upper die touches the workpiece, the resistance increases, and the hydraulic system, by adjusting the output flow and pressure, causes the upper die to pressurise the workpiece to form the required bending angle and shape.

Pressure holding phase: After reaching the predefined pressure, the system maintains the pressure for a period of time to ensure the stability and firmness of the bending section.

Return phase: After the holding time, the system releases the pressure, the upper and lower moulds are released and the finished bending sheet can be removed.

CNC systems:

The whole process is precisely controlled by the CNC system. The operator sets the length, thickness, bending angle and other parameters of the metal plate through the CNC system, and the CNC system then sends commands to the hydraulic cylinder to control the position and action of the upper mould to complete the precise bending operation.Thanks to the electromagnetic force clamping, it is possible to make the platen into a wide range of workpiece requirements and to process workpieces with side walls. Bending machine operation:

2.Stroke adjustment, use must be careful to adjust the stroke, must be tested before bending. It must ensure that there is a plate thickness clearance when the upper mould goes down to the very bottom. Otherwise it will cause damage to the mould machine. Stroke adjustment is also available with electric quick adjustment.  
3.Bending groove selection, generally select the plate thickness of 8 times the width of the groove. Such as bending 4mm sheet, you need to choose about 32 grooves.
4.Rear stopper adjustments are generally motorised quick adjustments and manual fine adjustments in the same way as for the shearer.
5.Step on the foot switch to start bending, CNC bending machine moulds and shearing machine is different, can be released at any time, release the foot will stop, in the pedal to continue down.
